They did an amazing job! I asked to have to chairs reupholstered in wool - the end result is beautiful. They were also wonderful to deal with. Excellent, courteous and very timely service! Do not hesitate to hire them.
I don’t normally write reviews, but was really impressed with the service and results we received for 3 dining room chairs we needed fixed and recovered. I had done some research and found United (James) to be most responsive and informative. I took the chairs in for assessment and estimate and was appreciative of the time James took showing me the various options and materials. We found a near perfect match. James’s mom brought out tea while James prepared the estimate and was very welcoming. The estimate was in line with what I expected so I proceeded with the work. I picked up the chairs today and was very impressed with the finished product. James’s dad who did the work came out to explain the work he did and the repairs he made. You could tell he took great pride in his work and it showed in the finished product. This is a great family run business and I highly recommend them for anyone requiring their services (see attached photos). Thank you for creating such a great customer experience!
I needed new mattresses/ cushions for my trailer on short notice. We had started a trailer renovation project that involved having a new 11’ sofa built. Once it was completed we needed upholstery done that would give us a comfy couch for reading during the day but would pull out to a 50” wide very long bed at night. And I had left it very late not realizing how long this project might take. In fact, I had sort of resigned myself to just getting slabs of foam from a foam place. I priced the foam elsewhere but couldn’t find a foam company that seemed interested or helpful as I struggled to choose amongst the firmness and quality options. Then I stumbled across the website for United Upholstery. They replied to my confused request for a quote within hours. They were interested in the project small as it was. I got a really good vibe from their communication so made an appointment to pop in. Things only got better from there. Safe social distancing, warm welcome, lovely people, lots of options to look at and to sit on. And at a price for foam and covers that was just slightly above one of my quotes for foam alone. They were able to work with my three week deadline before I had to take the trailer out of town and in fact beat their own estimate of how long it would take. The quality of the foam and the covers is second to none. We have been sitting, napping and sleeping on these beds for 12 days now and really could not be happier. I can not recommend this company highly enough. These people are amazing. You won’t be sorry if you choose them.
