Royal Oak Self Service Car Wash has been a popular choice in the lower mainland for over 30 years, offering a reliable self-service option for car cleaning. The facility is open 24/7, 365 days a year, making it convenient for customers at any time. It provides powerful vacuums with fragrance options, various power-wash choices like pre-soak and foam-brush, and additional products such as window cleaners and car fresheners. The car wash accommodates all types of vehicles, including motorbikes, trucks, and SUVs. While it is the only self-service wash in the area, some customers have noted issues with entry access and machine malfunctions that affect credit card transactions. Despite these concerns, the affordable pricing and strong suction power of the vacuums make it a favored spot for those who want to clean their cars without the risk of damage from automatic washes. Recent reviews highlight that it is the best and cheapest car wash in the city, with a complete wash costing just $8, using tokens that last 2 minutes 30 seconds each. Customers are advised to come prepared with their own sponge, cloth, gloves, face mask, waterproof shoes, and drying rags, as no buckets are allowed and the broom brush is ineffective. Many find the instructions helpful for maximizing their wash routine, especially since some have experienced issues with credit card holds and machine malfunctions, which can cause extra charges. The facility's emphasis on patience and preparation ensures a good experience, despite occasional technical challenges.
I come here once every other month to wash my car. But earlier tonight i went to wash, one of the pressure washer wasn’t working as it was shooting water weirdly, so i think you guys would have to take a look at the hose. So i moved to a different station to finish hosing down the rest of the soap off my car.
Super easy process! Gotta time it right, as its almost always super busy! Use sprayer, foam brush, sprayer 2nd round, then clear coat. Saves time & money. In & out in under 15min, & its UNDER $20. Can't do that at any automated car wash, plus you won't trash your antenna or license plate. Seriously!
You may be asking yourself how this car wash manages to be so wet, while retaining such a brilliant soapy character, that many car washes just can't compete with but they really do that here. Fans of wet, or soapy ought to take heed. The champ is here.
