As an ICBC Approved driving school, it specializes in preparing students for ICBC examination courses and enhancing advanced driving skills. Many students have praised the friendly staff and easy-to-understand instructions. One student, who had minimal driving experience, managed to pass the driving test with no demerits after just eight classes. Reviews highlight the straightforward communication for booking and payment, although early booking is recommended. Instructors like Edgar and Nicaelo receive praise for their patience, kindness, and support, helping students gain confidence and succeed on their first attempt. With over 100 hours of driving experience, I thought enrolling in a driving school wasn’t necessary. So I only booked 1 day with Rain as my instructor. I went home that day and realized I need to work on my skills and booked 4 more days. Roane was very helpful in scheduling more lessons with my test being less than a month away. Rain was my instructor on all those 5 days. He may be stern but he is very quick to give out compliments in my driving skills. He also makes sure to point out critical mistakes in a way that you would not be offended or discouraged. The lesson overview in the end is really beneficial as it acts as an evaluation report at the same time it lists down skills you need to focus on. I passed my road test on the first try! Big thank you to Rain for taking me on one of the testing routes and for emphasizing a lot of elements that I came across during the exam.
Super happy to have had the chance to learn from Rain even for just one session the day right before my class 7 road test as I found it highly instructive & vital in helping me pass! Great pointers were brought to my attention for practice that prepared me well and made a lasting improvement to my road skills despite my booking for a last minute crash course (bad pun not-intended as it was a very safe driving experience with zero crashes haha 😎). He listened to my main priorities of focus at the beginning & made instant adjustments to the mock run with those in mind, was well-versed with the testing routes and clearly addressed all my weaker maneuvers with practical feedback for correction. A thorough summary of the session along with pertinent advice is also emailed to you upon completion which I thought was nice to have for personal review afterwards. Another big kudos to the warm & friendly service from the kind ladies as well who were able to schedule me in on short notice based on a restricted availability, I could tell they cared to accommodate as best they could and the rates here are more than reasonable compared to others. All in all I'm very grateful to have come across RainCity and definitely plan to return for more lessons when getting ready for the class 5 in the future! 🙌
I took 4 lessons with Rain and ended up passing my class 7 road test on my first try. In these lessons, I was given advice and tips for driving that I likely wouldn't have learned without them. Alongside this, Rain helped me understand which areas required the most improvement. I am very satisfied with my experience, and I am certainly considering taking another set of lessons before my final class 5 exam.
