I was nervous about the quality of service due to some of the other reviews, even though I have been coming here for years and was always pleased in the past with everyone's helpfulness. This visit was a big repair situation - my machine wouldn't turn on and ALL my current files were on the hardrive sans back-up. The diagnosis was that my battery was shot and I needed a new topboard (keyboard, touchpad, and start button). The parts were gonna cost $320. I was in a panic. All of my worst fears were in play...was this true, should I get another opinion, could I shop around for better priced parts, was there a storage fee for taking over a week to figure it all... read full review

I paid $56 for an incorrect diagnosis on my macbook repair. I brought in my macbook for a diagnosis after a small liquid spill. The service person diagnosed it as damaged beyond repair and I was told I would need to purchase a new computer because replacing the part was too expensive ($1200). Not convinced, I brought it to someone else for a second opinion. It was fixed quickly and with friendly, professional service for $200. I called back to ask for a refund on the misdiagnosis. Apparently the service charge applies as soon as they open up the computer, so I was told bluntly that there would be no refund.
