My husband, brother-in-law and a close friend purchased tickets to today's Canada vs Qatar World Cup match through EA Sports who had a suite for the game. At 7:37am on game day they received an email saying the event was cancelled due to behaviors of guests at prior games. Thousands of dollars wasted on travel, hotel, etc for a once in a life time experience taken away from EA Sports who are offering a ticked refund and possibly some compensation for travel. EA Sports should be ashamed. I highly doubt the suite is currently sitting empty (while people who paid to be there months ago are now sitting in a pub like they could be at home). Update: the pitch was replaced, so that’s awesome, but I was sent back home as part of “Return To Office”, losing my awesome desk was disappointing and getting to the pitch for games is more of a hassle.

The soccer pitch and daily lunch hour games is what keeps me here. Sadly, the pitch was closed. Disappointing.

Electronic Arts, in my opinion, is one of the best companies when it comes to how an employer treats its employees. The working conditions here are extremely comfortable, and the atmosphere and overall attitude toward employees are excellent. If more employers treated their workers the way Electronic Arts does and created similar working conditions, I think the world would be a much happier place. 😊
