About Burnaby Mountain Golf Course & Driving Range
Burnaby Mountain Golf Course & Driving Range is a popular destination for golfers, especially beginners, who appreciate the well-maintained driving range and courses. The facility is always clean and upkept, creating a relaxing atmosphere for players. The golf store staff are friendly and helpful. However, there are ongoing concerns regarding the booking system for tee times, which many users describe as problematic. Golfers have reported that the booking system fills up extremely quickly, often within minutes of opening at 12 pm, making it challenging for casual players to secure desirable tee times. Users have expressed frustration over the perception that the system may favor certain groups of regular golfers, leaving others struggling to find available spots. Recently, the booking policy has changed, allowing reservations to be made one month in advance for an extra fee per person. This has led to suggestions for changes to the booking process, such as prioritizing local residents or limiting the number of tee times one user can book. Despite these challenges, the driving range remains a more accessible option for those looking to practice their swing. The range features two tiers, with the bottom tier having new grass mats, while the top tier has older mats. It is a busy place, so it is advisable to arrive early as finding a stall can be a waiting game. Overall, while Burnaby Mountain Golf Course & Driving Range is praised for its course quality and friendly staff, it faces ongoing criticism regarding its tee time booking system.
Been coming for a few months now after moving again.. facilities are nice and well kept and open late! Range balls seem new as well as mats and the18 is a great walk.. Staff like Arjan, Maddison, Baily, Nathan really help make this place feel like a home course!
Big shout out to the staff Matthew and Alison which had literally saved my ass last night! I locked my car key in the car, and my phone battery was dead. They were super helpful which helped me called my girlfriend, and charged my phone up. Really appreciated their kindness!
This course is really nice, I played my bc bantam here and got second place. Layout is tough and lots of slopes.
The driving range they have is heated in winter and cooled in summer, with nice mats to hit off of.
The restaurant is super classic so its like any other clubhouse. The pro shop is small but is sponsored by taylormade I think.
