We have a dog, so read this with that in mind. We choose this place because it proudly claims to be dog friendly, and mostly it was! The rooms were gorgeous, with amazing views and outside access. Little terraces for each room are so nice. We stayed in this area specifically to visit Butchart Gardens and to be in a more naturalistic place. The resort ferried us and our dog to the gardens directly from their marina in a little zodiac (~$20/person RT, dog free). Super special way to go and highly recommended. I was at the Harvest Fall table dinner the other night and it was outstanding!!! The food was so tasty, the setting was beautiful, the service was amazing and the wine pairings were perfect!!!

We attended the Arbutus Room for their Harvest Dinner on September 18, 2026. The space was beautifully decorated and inviting. All of the staff were very attentive and quick to assist with anything we requested. Most importantly, the food was INCREDIBLE. It was a fantastic night and we will be quick to return!
