About Brentwood Bay Resort - Adults-Only (16+)
Brentwood Bay Resort offers a picturesque setting with a fabulous view, making it a popular destination for both locals and visitors. The resort provides a range of amenities, including a pool and hot tub, as well as a pub with delicious and reasonably priced sushi. The accommodations may not be the most comfortable, with a soft and lumpy bed, but the overall experience is focused on the resort's facilities and dining options. The New Year's Day brunch in the Arbutus Room received mixed reviews, with a good selection of food but some issues with the food temperature and service. Guests had to request basic items like coffee, water, and butter, and the overall experience was deemed mediocre considering the price. Guests have described the resort itself, rooms, pool area, bar, and restaurant as great. The location is also praised, being far enough out of town/Victoria but not too far. However, some guests have found the staff to be not very friendly, and service to be slow at times. Despite these minor setbacks, Brentwood Bay Resort remains a sought-after destination for its scenic location and diverse amenities.
Front desk staff absolute gems. Rooms, primo. Decided to stay a second night. Staff transfered us to a new room seamlessly. The staff at the attached bar... Arrived they were slammed, hostess said there maybe a wait. Asked about vacant tables, her reply that section was closed due to lack of staff. Fair. Server Ethan stepped up and seated us instantly. Ethan then took absolute control, managed exceptions, proceeded to give next level service while supporting all the staff around him. The team in this establishment went above and beyond on every level. Hats off. Ethan, the hostess and bartender went above and beyond.
We stayed at the marina on our boat and decided it's now our favorite marina. Dock hands are super helpful and the staff overall is wonderful. Really nice showers and bathrooms for boaters, with upscale bath products. Moorage includes use of the lovely pool and hot tub, and there's a full bar with drinks delivered to you while you lounge by the pool or even in the pool.
They have 2 restaurants- we liked the casual patio pub/grill more than the fancy upscale restaurant. There are also some great options nearby.
It's also a quick dinghy ride to the back entrance of Butchart Gardens.
We will definitely be back next summer!
We recently stayed at Brentwood Bay Resort and had the most perfect getaway. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Our check-in with Kaedan was seamless, warm, and friendly—such a wonderful first impression.
We spent the afternoon relaxing by the pool, which was the perfect temperature, sipping delicious cocktails and soaking up the sunshine. It was exactly what we needed.
