“I love this salon! Julie has helped me transform my hair health with knowledgeable advice and a direct approach that I really appreciate. This is the first time in my life I have actually followed anything that resembles a schedule for getting regular haircuts, previously doing 'self-cuts' between seeing a professional maaaaybe every 2-3 years (every hairdresser's nightmare, I'm sure ?)
Their prices are reasonable, they have a no-tip policy and there is never any pressure to purchase extra products or services, so I never walk out of there feeling like I got talked into something I really didn't need or want. Perhaps that is why I have been such a reluctant client in the past (and maybe also from being forced into haircuts I didn't want as a child ?)
I have no hesitation in recommending Golden Shears to anyone and everyone.

“My hair was frizzy and shedding terribly due to relaxer chemical damage over the years, i wanted a way i could get my hair softened without applying more chemicals or damage to my hair ( mind you i have an African coily hair)

Nav took time to gently wash, treat and trim my hair, though it was a bit challenging for her, she figured it out anyway and in record time.

She also recommended good products for me to use at home as well as tips to take care of my hair. The products were pricy but she encouraged me that it was an investment and I wouldn’t need to keep coming back to her to help me with my hair

My hair has been better off so far, shedding has reduced even though I want it gone totally
