Home Depot brought in some excellent Christmas season decorations and Christmas displays this year. They also placed them on sale early enough for careful shoppers to benefit. We bought a giant 8.5 foot gold deer for our outdoor display. Instead of the original almost $300 price it was on sale for just under $100. We loved it so much we bought a second one. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgable.

Shopping experience was excellent! Ended up buying more than what was on my list because of some good deals. George at the Pro Desk was super helpful and friendly. The store manager was on the sales floor and offered to help a couple of times. I was asked by several employees if I needed assistance in just about every department I went to. Maybe I looked sketchy? I will tell myself that it was just good, old fashioned customer service. (Side note: Lowe's employees never approach customers in my experience.)

I make up a shopping list using HomeDepot.ca so I can know the price and selection before I go. I had a few specific things I needed and the gentleman that helped me was great. I ended up spending an hour in the store cus I kept thinking of things I needed and wanted to check out. Everything I got was priced well and I got some good ideas for future projects. Overall a great experience.
