I’m visiting Arizona and just dropped in for a quick haircut and beard tune-up — and I’m so glad I stumbled across this barbershop. The vibe was great right from the start: everyone was friendly, and I happened to get the owner as my barber.
He was genuinely funny, welcoming, and great to talk to. He took the time to ask what I wanted, started the cut slowly to make sure the style was just right, and trimmed up my beard perfectly. Throughout the session, he shared amazing local stories and insights — giving me a whole new appreciation for Yuma and some great ideas for places to explore while I’m here.
It’s been hard to find a great barbershop unlike The Barbershop! Been living in Yuma for a few years and kept trying and trying new shops. As soon as I walked into The Barbershop I was overcome with welcomes. This is the shop that will make you feel very welcomed and their haircuts are top notch. A family owned business with generations of barbers, this shop will get you right and tight. Not to mention the love for giving children’s haircuts too. Outstanding service, and they gave me a fantastic haircut. They were very friendly and took time to understand what I would like my style to be. Being from out of town, I wanted to make sure I could get a similar cut to what I get back home. They totally delivered.
