Had never been to this groomer, and am always apprehensive about a new place taking care of my babies. I have an older dog, with a very gentle nature, and he went right to Ruth when hubby brought him in. We did the bath and brush package with the nail trim, and I received a call that he was all done about an hour and 30 minutes from when we dropped him off!!! The salon is clean, the 2 women that groom the dogs are very nice and you can tell they love animals. They even send you a text to confirm your appt! (a gentle reminder!). We will be bringing in our other 2 dogs, and will see how our cat does to get a nail trim and possibly a cat bath. (hmmmm.....not sure I want to traumatize the gals or my kitty!) But they are willing to try with her! That is a definite plus in my book! Our baby saw me when I came to get him, but was so happy not to be in a cage like a lot of places do. He was the "social butterfly", and I don't think he wanted to leave! Another plus! TY both for a wonderful experience for hubby and I, and also our baby! Have already spoken with a few people about this place, and am handing out some extra business cards from there to people I know. Can't say enough good things about them!!! If you are worried trying a new place, you don't have to be here. They go at the pet's pace/level of comfort, not their pace. Give them a try! You'll be hooked on this place too!
