Route 66 Jiu Jitsu is a top-notch jiu-jitsu school in the small town of Williams. It is led by a fantastic coach and amazing professor who is a great teacher and stellar person. The school offers a great training atmosphere with solid fundamentals and self-defense. Everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the environment is trusted and responsible. Students have found great education and camaraderie, and the professor’s leadership has brought blessing to his students and the town. The academy culture is a great fit, and the instructor pours himself into his students. Watching him teach Little Kids is awesome, and gift wrapping adults up is stellar. The instruction is excellent, and the school has taken a brand new gym to top ten in AZ in just a couple of years. Anyone in the area wanting to learn self-defense, get in shape, and train with great people should stop by. Route 66 Jiu Jitsu is a great gym with a great instructor and great training atmosphere.
The small town of Williams is very fortunate to have a jiu-jitsu school of this caliber. I trained with Larry for several years before he moved to Williams and opened this school and he is a a top-notch BJJ practitioner, fantastic coach, and amazing human to be around. I’ve driven up from Phoenix to train there a few times and am very impressed with this school. Anyone in the area that wants to learn self-defense, get in shape, and train with great people needs to come and check this place out!
I couldn’t speak more highly of this school. Professor Larry’s leadership has brought such blessing to his students and this town. The education and camaraderie I have found here fulfills something I didn’t know I needed. I can’t wait until my kids are old enough to attend as well - I trust the environment and responsibility here implicitly. The fact that Professor has taken a brand new school to top ten in AZ in just a couple of years speaks for itself.
Where should I begin? Larry is an incredible professor, and I’ve been attending his jujutsu gym for almost two years now. There’s nothing quite like it. If you’re from Williams or ever visiting, make sure to stop by and check it out! Everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming.
