Dr. Perkis is a nice enough man however his Nurse Practitioner, Junia Osier, earns this place one star. She was helpful with an initial diagnosis and even ordered an MRI that shows a severe injury. However, for some unknown reason, Junia refuses to help provide the proper documents that are needed for medical leave. She and her MA, Precious, have wasted 3 weeks of time drafting several letters that never got sent, dodging phone calls during the daytime and now outright refusing to provide the documentation that supposedly was being worked on and/ or already sent. Junia is friendly and she helped me a lot. I felt like she understood my situation and really helped me get by with the problems I was facing.The office has a mer system everyone should use or you will miss messages form them, as I experienced once.
Dr. Ahmed is incredible! I saw her as a new primary care patient early January 2022, and was so impressed by her willingness to truly listen and thoroughly respond to all my questions. She made me feel like I was her only patient of the day. The nurses/PAs who took my blood samples for various tests were also incredibly skilled and wonderful. It was the first time I didn't feel nauseous in over 15 years!
