Numerous emails and phone calls that are NOT returned. Run from every property managed by HBS! It makes one think that there could be some questionable financial decisions being made by HBS and property HOA boards. (I would give ZERO stars if possible)
We had Pinehurst managing our property for the first 6 years I have owned my place and they were bad. Now we have HBS Stratford Community Management, which is even worse, so not a surprise to me that we got the worst manager we had with Pinehurst to be our property manager again. I sometimes feel sorry for her because of how our board members conduct themselves, but she could try to be more responsive and kinder to the homeowners. Emails go unanswered, important notices are not passed along to the owners and if you complain or point out issues, you get the silent treatment. Awful management company, since hiring them we’ve had two assessments levied on us in the thousands of dollars. Where did all our money go?! This management company is in bed with the HOA whom majority do not live at the community. They’ve hired contractors with the highest bid to do work that are incomplete. Board members on the HOA are currently being recalled and HBS seems to be on the side of 2-3 individuals and not the vast majority who want these people out. Kind of ridiculous and makes you think how shady these people are. Our community rep is Joseph and he takes forever to respond to emails. Avoid this company!
