Sabino Veterinary Care is an AAHA-accredited hospital that focuses on preventative care to promote long-term health for pets. The staff works closely with pet owners to determine the best nutrition, vaccination schedule, preventative medicines, and diagnostics for each animal. When health concerns arise, they guide clients through all treatment options, encouraging open communication and active participation in their pet’s medical care.
Though a little out of the way, many clients consider this their favorite in town. All the vets and techs are consistently described as sweet, helpful, and caring. The clinic handles most services in-house, making it a convenient one-stop location. The staff is especially praised for their patience and understanding, particularly when caring for elderly pets and clients. The clinic is always spotless, and the front desk staff are friendly and accommodating.
The clinic offers Saturday appointments, which is a big help for pet owners with busy schedules. Clients appreciate the caring attitude of the entire team and feel reassured, especially when bringing in elderly cats or coordinating care with limited funds. Many highlight the meticulous exams and science-based recommendations from Dr. Monterosso, who is regarded as an exceptional veterinarian. She often incorporates supplements when appropriate and is highly recommended by clients. Overall, Sabino Veterinary Care is known for providing excellent service and fostering trust within the community.
This is the best veterinary office my 11.5yr old boxer has ever been to. They truly care about your furbaby! He's been a patient for a few years now. The doctors are knowledgeable & compassionate, the rest of the staff is amazing as well, facilities are clean & comfortable. Marley's favorite vet is Dr. Cortez, I adore her as well!
Dr. Tom Johnson and the staff at Sabino Veterinary Care are exceptional. They compassionately examined my sick cat right away, clearly explained the various diagnostic and treatment options, and prescribed cat-friendly meds that got him eating again. Then they followed through to make sure he was recovering well. I recommend them highly.
I called because I thought my cat may have a blockage. She was having trouble pooping. I was given an appointment and was assured that she was fine. I asked many questions to help me help her from having future problems. All my questions were answered. I am so happy with the doctors at Saving Veterinary Care.
