I have had many dentist in my 64 years, but never one as good as Dr. Watkins and his Rita Ranch Dental Group. From my dental hygienist - Lindsey Jankowski-Gallo to their office manager Michael Solomon, you will not find a more professional group of dentist and specialist in our area. In fact, they have been the best that I have ever visited! This is a long story, but I share it because not having the right dentist can certainly lead to unnecessary medical issues. I have suffered from chronic sinus infections on my upper left side for a number of years, starting back in 2012. This stemming from an infected rear tooth, which went mis-diagnosed. In 2015 I underwent sinus surgery, which did offer some relief, but soon the infection returned. Around 2019, my previous dentist said I had a bad molar in my upper left rear and recommend his periodontist remove the tooth and root and place a bridge. He discovered the tooth was highly infected and most likely the cause of my sinus problems. They removed the tooth, root and fitted a bridge. Unfortunately, I still had sinus issues and also I had very hard object under my bridge that was causing pain in my gum. I returned to the dentist with complaints of the hard object under my bridge and infection. He inspected and just proscribed antibiotics for the infection. I decided that it was time to find a new dentist. My friend recommended Rita Ranch Dental Group, so I and my wife made the switch to them. On my first visit with them they did a complete workup including digital x-rays. My dentist that saw me was Dr. Mason Rice, DDS. After a through cleaning, he inspected the x-rays and told me that there were fractured pieces of tooth/bone left in my jaw from the other dental office! They recommended to remove the bridge and allow their DMD to clean out the bone/tooth fragments as well as perform a bone graft to repair the damage. I could go back with the bridge or with an implant. Ether procedure would provide the proper cure for my sinus infections. Discussing with Dr. David Watkins, DDS, I decided to go with an implant and they would reuse the bridge as crowns for the other two teeth. This is a lengthy process due to the time to repair the damage that the infection had caused. Dr. Niels Jenson, DMD performed the surgery to remove the bone/tooth fragments and the bone graft. He was amazing! It turned out the damage was very extensive, but he took the time necessary to do it right. It basically takes 6 months for a bone graft to take and you must follow the doctor’s orders after the procedure to insure the wound heals properly. A couple of follow-up visits were scheduled to make sure the graft was taking. During this time, Dr. David Watkins, DDS would check on the progress. The final sinus lift and implant was performed by Dr Aaron Compton, DMD. He too did amazing work! Both sinus lift and implant was performed without issue. Scheduled follow up visits went well until the implant was grafted into the bone properly. (Cannot rush these things, it takes the body time to do this). Dr. Watkins, DDS did the follow up visits. Always professional, yet at the same time, makes you feel welcomed and treats you like a long lost friend! Also Michael, their office manager worked with my insurance companies to make sure there would not be any problems there. Both these men went out of their way to make this process easy on me. When the implant was ready, the fitment area was digitally scanned for an exact replacement tooth to be made. This only took a week or two and then it was installed. Everything was perfect with the fit and finish. It has been 6 months since completion and a little over a 1.5 years for the first surgery. During this time, my sinus infections stopped and I have felt better than I have in over 10 years. I cannot express how my quality of life has improved since finding Dr. Watkins and Rita Ranch Dental Group. I highly recommend them for your dental need, they are a group of professional and caring folks!

I'd absolutely recommend this office & staff. Very kind, caring and treats every person as an idividual and not a client $$! They make sure their patients feel comfortable and taken care of! Sooo glad I've FINALLY found a great Dentist!
