She’s so kind & understanding. I love the comfy atmosphere it made me feel at home like a Time Machine back to visiting my aunt Virginia Craig who did hair in Tucson for many years before her passing many years ago. She had me in a massage chair with a foot massager for the hours I had to sit. It was the most comfortable soothing experience I’ve ever had while sitting as long as we have to for braids. I loved the music too. It was also very nostalgic & helped the time pass by better. The braids are a little bigger than I expected, but they are beautiful as is my hair. She’s a true artist. She also wonderfully had another sweet woman team up with her so it was much...read full review

7 hours to do 42 braids. I paid before service- Both the owner and the stylist had the picture of the style I paid for. When I showed The owner what was actually done she offered to have the same stylist fix it. I asked if she had pictures of that stylists work to show me that she could actually fix the style - then the owner started saying my hair was thin, gaslighting saying that the stylist did me a favor ..doing the braids this way because she didn't want to damage my "thin" hair or pull it out, and on and on &blaming me for being the "one of those customers"- So considering both owner and braider saw my hair prior to service and at the start of service - WHY did neither of them tell me it was "too thin" to do the style in the picture I had paid for??? At some point one of them should have told me they couldn't do it - and gave me some other options since I had already paid. The stylist seemed new and not handy doing cornrows. It took six plus hours to do 42 braids that are only 22 inches long. Side Note: chair is low so cannot see yourself during service in the backroom. I trusted that the stylist was doing what was in the picture because she never said your hair is too thin I need to do something else. I had no idea she was spacing cornrows several centimeters apart or doing a completely different pattern . The braider seemed sweet and doing her very best. I told her it looked fine from the front view, I'd see her again and I left.I hadn't seen the sides, top or back view... Don't mind paying her for her time, but I do the expect shop to help fix the style to make it worth what I paid. I'll end up having to buy wavy strands to make boho braids for coverage. These uncoordinated cornrows will be fuzzy soon and I'm out $200. The unprofessional part is that the owner really doesn't care, and would blame the client for a bad job. If the picture cannot be done why not tell the client. Don't just take the money and do something worth less.
