This nursery is famous world-wide in the cactus community for a good reason, and it's a shame they stopped doing mail order recently, but that just makes it more exclusive to us locals here in Tuscon. One of my favorite nurseries in tucson! I have bought numerous cactuses (including a baby saguaro) and agaves from this nursery. The staff are incredible. They provide sage advice on how to plant and where the plants will be successful. They always answer questions and you can tell they really care about their plants! The selection is fabulous and I often see things here I’ve never seen at other cacti nurseries. The prices are fair too. I really like that the offerings are always changing and that they support their plants through their lifecycle.
I have bought all of my desert plants from this place for more than 35 years! They have a great variety of healthy plants that thrive in the desert. The other big plus is that the owners really know about how to care for all of their plants—probably the best informed in Tucson! If you’re a plant lover and care to raise sustainable desert-loving interesting plants, this is the place!
