Karen is a lovely person and makes sure my hair looks its best. I have curly hair so it's more challenging. She never gets frustrated with what my hair is doing next, she just figures out how to adjust. I love seeing her and knowing I'm in good hands.

I have been going to Karen at Obsidian for almost ten years. Karen has always done an excellent job, and my hair always looks great after getting my cut and color. Karen is always super friendly and upbeat. I always leave feeling good, and my hair looks very healthy. Obsidian is super easy to find-it's located in the Sola Salon, between the LA Fitness and Sprouts market.

Karen is seriously amazing! She did (in one session!) what many other stylists have really screwed up. I finally have my beautiful, bright red that I wanted! She is upbeat, fun, and makes your appointment a blast. She used a new hair cutting technique that gave my curly hair the natural shape I never knew I was lacking. Mani and pedi services are awesome too! She is just really good at whatever she puts her mind to. Highly recommend, just go see her because she is worth every penny!!!
