Mr Janitor is not necessarily a bad company to work for, however, it does have it's issues. I happily served this company as my secondary income for a year but my biggest issue has an issue with being paid along with rather immature supervisors and the way they handle issues on the work site. I had to quit not long ago because I had an issue with getting paid due to accepting a new primary job and to this day, they are still holding my last check hostage with no plans to either mail it or deliver to me. If this persist into getting my W-2 next year come tax season, I'll just let the IRS handle it with them perhaps. I understand why they do this but come on,... read full review

Mr. Janitor has been maintaining our offices for a number of years and the owner, Jim, is exceptionally responsive. For the last year or so we've had a guy named Nate from Mr. Janitor. I've never seen a guy work with more detail and consistency. Love him!

Mr. Janitor is a good idea, the owner is a straight shooter and there are some good employees. That being said there’s a lot of silliness going on there as well. There’s an immature supervisor that actually showed up to a worksite with their cap on sideways like some hip-hop dude, quite a few micro-managers who will test your patience, the HR/Office manager who personalizes the perceived failings of every other employee and will attempt to hide vendettas through exacting and unreasonable demands. There’s no formal training (though it’s kind of unnecessary) and the time allotted to complete assignments is never enough to really clean up well. The equipment is fine... read full review
