I had a one-hour deep tissue massage at Holistics Massage and it was both incredible and unexpectedly hilarious—in the best way.
My therapist was small but mighty and somehow managed to get deep into the joints of my shoulder blades and neck in a way that actually worked. I’m not entirely sure what techniques she used—palms, forearms, maybe some kind of magic—but I could absolutely feel it, and it felt amazing. She found every single knot in my back and worked them out.
