About Habitat For Humanity Tucson (Office)
Habitat for Humanity Tucson offers an innovative solution to the crisis of affordable housing. The organization builds and repairs homes in partnership with the community and local families, valuing inclusiveness, win/win partnerships, respect for the dignity of each person, and a commitment to deliver a strong return on the community's investment. The HabiStore on Grant Road supports affordable housing solutions through shopping, donations, and volunteerism. The newly inaugurated CHUCK (Connie Hillman Urban Construction Knowledge) Center leverages rapid deployment to accelerate affordable housing and education aimed to train skilled tradespeople in Southern Arizona. Volunteers enjoy a good sense of community while working at the CHUCK Center and on-site, with great Habitat staff overseeing the work. The organization provides opportunities for low-income individuals to purchase affordable homes, offering deals on furniture and equipment to support their new homes.
Working with the team at Habitat for Humanity Tucson has been an incredible experience. From the Homeownership Team and dedicated volunteers to the CEO, everyone shares the same passion for helping families achieve the American dream of homeownership.
