I accompanied an elderly family member who has low vision due to glaucoma to Desert Low Vision Services. Janet was extremely professional, very patient, and helpful! She inquired about my family member's interests, asked about visual aids currently in place, and offered a variety of additional devices to try out while there. She also made sure we were aware of services my family member qualifies for, including the ILRS and the free talking book library. Before we left, she also verified that my family member's sun glasses are polarized and have UV protection. My family member already is using their new task light and is looking forward to getting a talking book.... read full review
