It is not so easy to deal with the warranty from this builder. There will be a lot of delay and no show from this builder's contractors. Once they come, they refuse to fix it for their excuses. You will be ended up to pay out from your pockets.
I do NOT RECOMMEND THESE HOMES TO ANY CUSTOMER!

Depressing and no functionality. Requested earnest money back, took over 2 months. Delay after delay. Disappointment in their actions. In real estate, ALWAYS confirm you have EVERYTHING on paper, always.

This review is regarding the home warranty department. I had a ceiling fan burnout and I lost all electricity to my living room. I will admit that my warranty expired, but they promised to reimburse me for the expenses if the fault was due to how the house was built. Once a fault was discovered in how the fan was installed, the employee handling my claim started to avoid my calls, not call me back, and making excuses to not reimburse me even after receiving my electrician’s invoice. 5 months went by and no action was taken. DR Horton Warranty Department has proven that they are more interested in saving a buck than servicing their customers.
