It was GREAT to get the help we needed.The owner took on our situation and worked with us on a plan of action that fit in our situation. Currently we are in the PHASE 1 of the plan and even though we are not able to be there at this time, WE FEEL WE ARE IN EXCELENT HANDS WITH THIS TEAM! While we were out running errands our washing machine malfunctioned. An inlet valve didn't close, dumping water full force into the house for three hours. When we opened the front door, water came gushing out. I found Brewer Restoration on the internet. After finding that the company had no problems listed with the BBB and Registrar of Contractors we called them to clean up and subsequently contracted with them to repair the damage. They responded initially to the emergency within an hour, arriving with a powerful vacuum cleaner and fans to begin the drying process. The owner, John Brewer patiently explained the complete dry-out process needed to restore our house from the damage. Because of Brewer's clean BBB and ROC record, his apparent knowledge, his friendly, helpful demeanor and that we had no direct knowledge of anyone else who might be better, we hired his company to perform the restoration. It was overwhelming. All our stuff had to be moved away from the walls, sheetrock ripped out, fans and dehumidifiers installed. Once things dried, the walls had to be put back in order, the house painted, flooring ripped out and reinstalled and the damaged Saltillo tile refinished. To accomplish this our furniture was moved to storage. The process took two months. Throughout all this, Brewer's company and the subcontractors he employed were courteous and helpful and skilled. His company assisted us with filing our insurance claims and maximizing our settlement. He knew what documentation the insurance company required and submitted it in a timely way. Even after all of the small details were taken care of and the certificate of completion signed, Brewer promised to come back if we found anything more that needed attention. My wife and I would definitely recommend hiring Brewer Restoration should you suffer a similar catastrophe.
