I walked in and was greeted by Jason. Such a nice guy ! Lisa my therapist greeted me warmly downstairs at exactly my appointment time. She then asked me to remove my shoes and follow her up to her area which was serene and lovely. She consistently focused on my comfort. She was kind, professional and educated me on what to expect. The session I chose is called “ Breathe & Zzzzzzs “ which focuses on “ sleeping issues, digestive problems, fatigue, stress, anxiety, depression, lack of energy or other chronic illness “. Lisa explained that the work she will do has the goal of honing in on activating the parasympathetic nervous system, IE getting rid of the constant fight or flight response. This was a 90 minute session. My body gradually began to purge itself in many ways starting the same evening. I left still in my usual rattled state. I woke this morning with a clearer mind, less stress and anxiety l and an increase in my ability to focus and be present in the moment.
