Adair Dodge Chapel handled our Mom's visitation, funeral and cremation. Francine, and all the staff, were wonderful and made a difficult time a bit easier. Everyone was professional, kind and patient throughout the process, and made sure we were comfortable with the decisions to be made.

We were greeted at the door and escorted to the conference room by very courteous staff .introductions were very easy and not heavy . Mom had made her wishes years ago and no attempt was made to change those wishes which was appreciated. All and all our experience was very professional and accommodating. I would recommend Adair highly as a caring professional funeral home.

I cannot say enough good things about Taylor and the Adair Avalon Chapel Funeral Home. They handled my father’s cremation (2016) and my mother’s recent cremation (August 2023) with empathy, professionalism and great care. They helped make a time of grief and loss a bit less painful by how wonderfully they took care of all of the details we needed them to, especially given that we do not live in Tucson. Taylor was always respectful, courteous and caring in his communications and support. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a funeral home to handle the relevant details of the loss of a loved one.

Our original and main location, situated in what is now central Tucson, was opened by the Adair family in 1956. The original building has had two major additions added to it over the years to try and keep up with the growth of the area and the number of families that we serve. Now comprising approximately 12,000 square feet, it offers a chapel with seating for approximately 150 people with overflow areas that allow for approximately another 100 - 150 people. Several slumber rooms are available for our families, as well as several arrangement offices.
