You know how it's hard to find a licensed contractor to take on your small home remodel jobs? They always seem to bail on you when the big job comes along? Well, not Roger and A Very Nice Construction Co. He loves these types of projects and always does a great job. Bath, kitchen, flooring, house painting and more -- he does it all and knows his craft. He's mostly a one-man shop and has a loyal following -- so get on his schedule now as it might take a while to get to your job.

I found AVNCC after being stood up by another contractor. We had to get repairs done to our roof by a licensed contractor before closing on the sale of our home. Not only did he save us by coming out to do the repairs on his day off, but he charged a fraction of what we were going to have to pay with the other contractor. At the time I remember my wife remarking that "he was very nice", after he left. She got a good laugh when I showed her the business card, as she had no idea the name was "A Very Nice Construction Co". A very fitting name! I am about a year late writing this review, with all the chaos of moving and selling a house it had slipped my mind. But, I finally remembered as I find myself highly recommending AVNCC to my parents, who recently retired in Tucson.

Roger built a beautiful bathroom. The master had a standard constructed bathroom from the 80s and when we were ready to upgrade Roger laid the floor and installed a new shower (floor, pan and tile wall with an accent). He takes pride in his work and helped with an up-grade that is fitting for both style and budget. I will use his services again in the future.
