This was my very first tattoo, and I was honestly terrified. I'm super sensitive to pain and have always had a fear of needles, so it took a lot of courage just to walk through the door. But in the end, I’m so glad I did.
I came in with a bunch of reference images and ideas, and the artist really took the time to listen and help bring everything together into a design I truly loved. When the tattooing started, I was still nervous, but the fear quickly faded after the first touch of the needle—it really wasn’t as bad as I expected. Sure, there was some pain, but it was totally manageable.
Keon did a great job. Beautiful sharp lines and great control - enough penetration to get the image set, but gentle such that healing was a breeze. I was told I picked a bit of a “spicy” location for my first piece (inner wrist) but I experienced very little pain compared to what I had expected.
