I just had Picasso put a protective surface on our marble kitchen island and our backlit onyx bar top. We had friends over once who spilled some salad dressing while cleaning up and another time our son left some splashed water on the marble, both times either etching into the marble or leaving stains. We paid $600 to have the marble resurfaced, but that still left it vulnerable to a repeat of the problem. We got tired of being paranoid ever time a friend or my mother put something on the surface, so we called in Picasso. We wanted to be sure the marble top would still match the marble backsplash and the backlit onyx would not lose any of its brilliance when lit. Well, it came out perfect, the protected surface is even better than the raw stone, with slight little cracks and seams all perfectly smooth and zero impact on color or brilliance of the natural stone. The workers were great too, although the process took a full four days and the material smell was strong like a fiberglass boat or surfboard factory. Perfect solution to our problem, and I highly recommend Picasso.
