Melanie was so informative and compassionate, and I gained a lot of great techniques and tricks on better latch, as well as the reassurance that our babe with a (still in tact!) tongue tie was receiving the adequate amount of breastmilk and that we were doing a great job! Going here was really helpful for my son and I. They addressed stretches to do with him to help with tension as a newborn, made really helpful position recommendations for his specific poor latch, and we discussed different types of lactation aids and what would actually address our needs. I appreciated that they had ways to include formula in our feeding techniques without judgement.
I would highly recommend Az breastfeeding center. Dr Jennie and Erica are both amazing!! If you are having any breastfeeding struggles, they will help you come up with a plan of action that not only prioritizes baby, but also mom! As a new mom, Dr Jennie provided a safe space to be vulnerable and share my challenges. I went back to see Dr. Jennie and Erica for all 3 of my children!
