Wish it didn’t take so long to get someone in the phone. Also, pretty long wait times to see doc. Usually 30 min after scheduled apt time are you seen. I plan about 2 hours for any visit. I don’t mind but if you’re not used to that it could be pretty frustrating.
Exceptionally happy with services. Areas to know less efficient: computer systems are not well connected, so must repeat info, such as at med appointment (a ton of extra time and work for the assistant when it was required normal history before the appointment), at labs (and make sure to bring referral), and go back and forth with front desk and pharmacy in-person and over phone (unsuccessfully and their paperwork regarding pharmacy does not pass). Email inside your chart appears to bypass inefficiencies to get prescribed meds sent to their pharmacy and get test results posted to chart. As for eligibility department, make sure to go to front desk upon arrival.
Our experience with Dr. Mark Pyle has been suboptimal, would not recommend. Haven’t tried any other pediatricians at this office but every appointment we’ve had with him has been incredibly rushed and not at all welcoming. He literally just talks at you a million miles a minute and handles babies very roughly. It honestly seems like he has a timer going and he’s trying to see how fast he can possibly get through the appointment, without any regard for the actual patient. He never even takes the time to say hello. Incredibly impersonal. We will be taking our kids somewhere else.
