The good first... It's a beautiful, clean facility. The ladies answering the phone at the front desk are lovely and super caring with excellent communication and they call back promptly. The not good....The reason I cannot leave an excellent review overall is my concerns for what happens once the dog goes in the back examination room and a couple other events. My dog had an advanced stage of cancer. I paid for two visits in 2 weeks. The traveling there was very hard on her delicate state. After the first exam, she stopped eating within days, which she had not been. And after the second exam was over, they gave her back to me vomiting, which she had not been. Then... read full review

We have been using Oak Creek Animal Clinic for 9 years, first with our now elderly near-end-of life golden doodle Linus, and now also with a new golden doodle puppy. We have worked with 3 different vets there. Over many years, we've used vet clinics in Maryland, Florida and Maine. I can easily say that our experiences with Oak Creek have always been high quality in terms of vet knowledge and skills, and in their interpersonal behavior both with us and our dogs. Linus has had three emergencies requiring surgeries. Very disappointed in this clinic. We ended up at flagstaff at canyon pet hospital who took care of us because our dog Kida swallowed a bone. Oak creek claims to be an after hours clinic that is open to its clients but this is not true at least for our experience. I called explaining the emergency and the operator told me that they were closed and could not help us. Proceeded to tell me to call a random number up in flagstaff. Not having time to argue over the phone about what their answering machine states I called the number she provided. The number was a weird number and had a voicemail but did not sound like a vet clinic but instead a private number. They also never... read full review
