Dr. (Using this title loosely) is not a good person. She has single handedly run two vet practices into bankruptcy. I would not trust her with your pet.

Misrepresentation of being prior Sedona Animal Clinic. Sale of practice I can understand, however new owner not forthcoming about the practice, e.g holistic vs basic veterinary care UNTIL you are there for appointment. Only cursory med exam, does not specify charge for specific services. Perhaps a problem with their "Square up" payment charges as I was charged nearly $50 in county and city sales taxes which is not applicable without a tangible product purchase. E.g food/meds/ supplies you carry away. They did correct the error but NO response when initially brought up the issue. CHAOTIC office and quite unprofessional. I've no problem with holistic approach but especially want others to be aware possible inaccurate charges.

I will never take my dog back to Sedona Animal Clinic located in Sedona, AZ. They could not run my Care Credit card through properly, even though I've never had an issue with it in all the years I've used it. My dog was a new patient needing a dental cleaning. When I went to pick her up and tried to pay, my card was declined even though I knew I had enough on the card to cover my bill. I called Care Credit while standing there and they told me the card was not declined and should have gone through. After talking to a few people at Cared Credit and having the receptionist talk to them, it was still not going through. At this point, Dr. Hope came out and told me that I had better find a way to pay, that she was not a financial service for people who couldn't pay. She was quite rude and indicated I would not be leaving with my dog if I didn't find someone who would pay for my $1,300.00 dental bill. (I thought that was an excessive amount for a cleaning and one extraction.) I told her I had the means to pay, but her office was not able to deal with Care Credit, even though the first thing I asked about when i set up the appointment was if they take Care Credit and I was told they did. She treated me like I was trying to skip out on my bill. I felt humiliated and just wanted to get my little dog home after a very long day there. I called my son and he paid over the phone. I will NEVER go back to see Hope. She cared more about money than she did my little dog.

We went to our first visit with Dr. Valentine at Sedona Animal Clinic and brought 2 of our dogs. Dr. Valentine provided excellent care to both of them. Her background and training, especially in Chinese medicine, will be a real plus for the Sedona area. I'm excited that she has moved here. One of our dogs is a rescue with unusual needs and Dr. Valentine really took extra care with her. The other dog has an autoimmune disorder that will require ongoing care. This will be a good place for our household.

Sedona Animal Clinic has a new vet since last week who appears to be in town to take your money and not call you back as promised. She must think all her clients are rich. She told me my outdoor cat was losing strength in his back legs ( yet he climbs trees 20 ft up). Lab work over $200, never recommended before. Not going back after over 10 years of prior satisfaction.

New patient, new kitty, new to the area, and I would highly recommend this vet. Dr. David is kind, caring, and compassionate, to your animals needs and eases your concerns. After calling around to get an idea of cost for a kitten neutering I was shocked and amazed that greed is right here in our own back yard with two other Sedona area vets at exorbitant and nothing but greediness cost for this same procedure than other vets wanted no kidding triple the amount to have this procedure done. So, you know Dr. David at Sedona Animal Clinic will get my business every time. As it's not always about money!! Thank you Dr. David for your compassion and caring ways towards my lil baby animals kitten/cats that are dear to my heart as all of our animals are! Your big heart came shining through and I dearly and so deeply appreciate you and your staff for the caring ways. You'll see me back for any continued care of my animals! MJLangdon

This is one of the most caring veterinarians and staff I have ever worked with. They are honest, fair with their pricing, and accommodated me on several occasions, including an after hours trip for an antibiotic for my sick pup. Would highly recommend!

I needed a prescription for my dogs so I could order their heartworm meds. And my labradoodle was having some constant discomfort around his head and ears. I called and was worked into the schedule the following morning. I found everyone at the clinic to be caring and engaged. My dogs were comfortable as the techs drew blood and spoke with them and I could almost see them smile as Dr. Kovalik sat on the floor with them as he connected with them as he examined them. Thanks doc... thanks team.
