If you're looking for a snarky, uncooperative staff who is not interested in processing out of network insurance paperwork, this is the place for you. I had a snafu with my insurance which resulted in a denial of coverage. This office denied they made a mistake, said they could do nothing to help and hung up on me. I am now responsible for paying $300 for an appointment which had been previously approved and subsequently was unapproved. This practice has had bad service reviews for years and it is all true. Yikes. Run the other way.

They have zero compassion for clients. After waiting a month for an appointment having breathing problems I was denied the appointment because I was going to be ten minutes late. Go some where else cause they will not care about you what so ever. I asked to get a doctor email address so I could address my concerns privately and they denied me that.....but they should know their front desk Staff is driving people away.....

Jennifer Gamlin is one of the most compassionate and thorough DO‘s I have ever experienced. I feel 100% taken care off. The staff in the office is professional. I recommend this practice.

This was my first visit, I arrived on time 12:40 with initial paperwork forms all filled out, and the women at the window informs me I am late. I corrected her on the issue of time, it was indeed 12:40, she excuses herself to see if an exception can be made and I can be declared "on time." She enters the waiting room and informs me an exception cannot be made. They expected me to arrive earlier than the actual 12:40 time because they had to place the information on the paper into the system. I asked if she could do that while the Nurse Practioner is seeing me and she says, "no, it has to be in the system" then she lets me know we will have to "reschedule." I declined and left. Fair warning to other consumers, the disrespect they showed on the issue of time, especially when it was dependent on their processes should cause everyone concern. I know a power play when I see it. I am not desperate, I can shop around and choose a Physician whose entire practice is based on fairness and respect towards all users. Everyone, look for a business that does not watch the clock and your outcome for diagnosis might be based on expertise.

Dr. Susan was absolutely wonderful. She was so insightful, so kind and helpful. The staff in the front was incredibly kind too. I just moved to town, so having a Family Practice that seemed like they really cared was just the best thing ever. The prices were also incredibly reasonable - I called around so many places, and this really was one of the most affordable options for the care I was requesting. I will definitely be back! And I'm proud to give Dr. Susan and her staff my business in the future.

I drive some time to come to good doctors! This would be an example. I started coming here a few years back when one of my personal faves, Candace Malson, transferred offices from way across the valley to here , ha! That was a drive too! BUT, she was a friend and I had to! Not only did she bring her files ( that would be expected) but she knew my history without those files and just as important my companies paperwork that will give even a physician a major meltdown. I can't believe I never did a review for Scottsdale Family Physicians until now. Marcia Sistek is the main MD here. The doctors and nurse practitioners all are personal and warm and that is important to me. The office is small and the restroom is a key you get and is outside of the office, but is always clean. Recently my friend my awesome NP left and I found myself truly stressing about finding a new general practice that would follow my simple stuff like immunizations that I have to have to be all over the world in weird places all the time or that yearly blood work to determine why I am so tired or packing on extra pounds ?!! (Oh wait.. blame my fatiguing career again and that I am old!!! That I Yelp 'out' too much and let go of my gym membership! hmmmm) You get the gist tho.. we all need that one doctor who sees us when we just feel not quite right. Susan Friedlan took Candace's spot ; I love her! She's thorough; great at getting to what ails you and goes through the old files to be sure she has all the info.. Oh! She is quick to learn all about my company and it's love of paperwork! This is a great set of doctors and nurses next to Shea Medical Center. Now my one star down is that I don't 'LOVE' the staff .. On the phone they seem a little gruff and the MA barely smiles ; but.. you have a max of two minutes with these people to pay ( or argue ) your deducts and pay your co-pay , get weighed and all that and see the people that will take care of you.
