I recently visited for a routine eye exam with Dr. Cao and she was amazing! She found me the perfect prescription and the entire staff was so warm and welcoming. They made purchasing contacts so easy and even helped me find a way to get them paid for with insurance. I highly recommend.

Recently had an annual visit. They charged me a fortune for new lenses & refused to renew my eye drops for dry eye that a previous Dr there prescribed. Dr's always changing. Staff has been pleasant until this issue....said they changed billing companies and don't have my records since 2022....what Dr doesn't protect your medical records

I've been coming to Ironwood vision center for 3 years each time we come to AZ for the winter. The staff is so amazing from check in, ordering eye glasses, and the doctors exam. Adrian works the front desk and is also the technician that takes all your preliminary eye measurements. She is super friendly and interactive and is sincerely Interested in your well being. The genius behind it all is Dr. Cao who is very interested in your eye health and your ability to see. They have state of the art machinery to accommodate any eye or vision problem. Dr CAO is also amazingly smart. She's like a scientist in her profession. I have kerataconus which is a degenerative disease of the cornea (for 25 years) difficult to fit normal contacts and glasses. Dr. Cao was not only able to design sclera lenses for me but also never done before by any optometrist a pair of eye glasses. Now I see 20/20 where I am considered legally blind without correction lenses. If you have an eye disease that is preventing you from seeing, give Ironwood Vision a try. They literally changed my life.

The most wonderful experience l have ever had with an eye exam and choosing new lenses. The Doctor is Amazing . When u walk in the staff makes u feel welcomed and accommodating. I brought my little dog, Baby, with me and the staff just showed so much kindness to her. Choosing eyeglass frames was so professional, Liz really knows how to personalize your experience. I am so grateful I found Ironwood Eye Care and highly recommend them ... u r in for a fabulous experience.

If you want to be treated badly and spend 3X the price and have incompetent doctors then this is the place for you! Highly suggest that literally any other place would be better!

I came into ironwood after a bad experience at nationwide vision. The staff was super friendly and Jeff was extremely helpful with helping me pick the right fit for a new pair of glasses. Kimia, the office manager guided me through the whole process and was very patient. I appreciated how quickly I was greeted and accommodated. Dr. Cao did my eye exam and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family!

I cannot begin to describe how very kind, efficient and welcoming Ironwood Eye Care, Dr. Kao and Adrienne (and the lovely receptionist, but I don't know her name) have been to me in the past week. Being from out of town, I called with eye pain and they told me to come over immediately and they would fit me in last week. Today, the same thing happened with my other eye, and once again they told me to come over to be seen. I was even offered coffee or water in the exam room - truly, a full service business. I cannot say enough about their excellent care and pleasant personalities. Thank you, Ironwood - I will recommend you to all my snowbird friends!!

On two separate occasions We were told that lenses were ready for pick up. Both times - a month apart - they were not open during the hours stayed on their site and door- out for training . So this meant coming back ( called this time to be sure they didn't close early too) only to be told no lenses. 4 trips to get contacts and still nothing Front desk insisted we were not called....really? Why would I go to pick them up?!!! No apology just snippy reassurance that there was no way anyone called because it was not written anywhere that they called. Maybe they should close shop until they get their act together- do some more training!
