Love this salon and so very grateful for Brittany at the front desk saving me by lining up a next day appt with Nicole to fix a color nightmare I was dealing with from a different salon. Both ladies were calm kind professionals who knew exactly what to do. Nicole offered a couple of great options and I am thrilled with the results!! My friend had a consultation a week before her appointment, where she specifically asked for a light brown dye with highlights. She made it super clear that she didn’t want any red or burgundy tones, but the stylist ended up dyeing her hair this bright red color instead. Now her hair looks so dry, and when she called the salon to share her concerns, they promised to get back to her but haven’t called back in 10 days. It feels like they’re just ignoring her, and she’s so frustrated. She either wants her money back or for them to fix her hair because they totally didn’t listen and just did their own thing. Honestly, the whole experience was so disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend going there.

Based on a recommendation on Nexr Door I made n appt w Wayne for a hair cut. My hair was blunt cut, about 2” below chin length. I told him I want about 1-2” length cut off,—I showed him 5-6 pics of myself with the hair length and look that I wanted— and emphasized that I definitely didn’t want any “under cut” at the back nape, as I at times like to be able to pull my hair back into a little nape pony tail. I had no idea what he was doing back there, but I trusted him to be doing what I had clearly discussed and showed him. When he was done, I saw in the mirror that it was definitely a good deal shorter than I had wanted…but I didn’t know just how much shorter it was until I left the salon. To my horror, I found that he had undercut the back of my hair so short that it is going to take months to grow out to a decent length. I still can’t believe what he did to me and my hair. He certainly did not give me the haircut that I wanted. Wayne gave me the haircut that he thought I should have. It’s not the end of the world. But it is a very, very bad and costly experience.

Needed a haircut while o was visiting Scottsdale. I ended up at Dre's based off of the reviews. I was really hoping to get someone who was great and listened to what I wanted but sadly I did not get what I was hoping for. The lady I ended up with was very judgmental and didn't like my idea so she did what she wanted. She cut 4 inches off and didn't layer as o asked her to. I was disappointed and had to get my hair fixed when I got home. The salon itself seems nice and clean and the price was ok even though I unhappy with my cut. Next time I want a cut I'll get it before I visit Scottsdale.

My stylist, Renee Zannetti is great with color, cuts AND styles, it’s obvious that she has decades of experience, one of the things that keeps me coming back is that she takes great care that my hair stays healthy! She also does a great job on my husband. Very flexible too!

Renee Zanetti (formally with La Lou Salon now closed), master hair colorist and hairstylist has moved to Dre's! A full service salon and spa, Dre's caters to even the most fussy clientele and it is conveniently located across from Kierland Commons. Before finding Renee, I've tried many of the other high-end Scottsdale salons and left disappointed. After three years with her, my hair is back to being soft, shiny and beautiful color.
