Had a day off while working in Phoenix, so went to check out Arizona Drum Shop. I'd had a great experience buying from them on Reverb a few years ago, and I've seen such good reviews online. I was in the market for a new crash cymbal, and also was looking for something to do. Ron took lots of time to talk with me about the different options, looked at what I was already playing, and then demo-ed like 6 or 7 cymbals next to the same one I have so I could pick the perfect compliment. Best of all, he has a lot of Mint-Condition Used cymbals, so there's a good discount on them.

Can't say enough good things about Arizona Drum shop and the owner Ron. Friendly, knowledgeable, patient, skilled. Took the time to help me dial in a vintage snare drum and then refused payment for his time, all the while teaching me a few things along the way. His prices, at least on the drumhead I purchased, was below both Guitar Center AND Sweetwater's online prices, and hey, a few dollars saved is a few dollars saved, right? I will make it a point to do all of my future shopping here, my only regret is not having found this shop sooner.
