I am a woman, and most people dont think of a barber shop for women to get a haircut. But as a service member of the community, I have walked by Lisa's shop many times and she is very caring, always making sure I am doing ok, making sure I am hydrated. Today I asked if shed cut my hair, and she did an amazing job. It is straight, which I rarely get in this town, and she didnt rush through it like at most corporate salons. She cares about people and therefore cares about the service she provides. I always enjoy talking to her, and we shared history of coming to town. I came in for a haircut before traveling out of state for a funeral and she did a great job. I love the old-school atmosphere that reminds me of getting a haircut with my dad at our usual barbershop of my childhood. It's hard to find a real barber in Prescott. The trendy places are really hair salons, where no one is a real barber. These faux barber shops even set up their shops like a beauty salon where you face toward the mirror. Anyone who's been to a real barber shop knows that the barber is next to the mirror behind you while you look out away from the mirror. This place is the real deal. I get a great haircut every time.
