Jeremy is a wounded warrior that was able to go on the Soldier Ride December 9, 2021 in Tucson Arizona. He is nearly blind but because of the adaptive bike he rode he was able to be independent. Not having to have to steer the bike as there was also another rider steering on the tandem bicycle. We met so many amazing people both staff and people that came to the event. We did yoga to help relax, it was really geared for the people that were there. The staff was simply amazing. They talked to each person as if they were family & loved ones. Wounded Warrior Project is a non profit organization for veterans. Our military and veteran support organization in Phoenix, AZ has a mission to empower injured veterans and families who sustained a physical or mental injury, illness or wound on or after September 11, 2001, such as PTSD, TBI, MST and other related conditions. WWP offers a variety of veteran support programs and services, free of charge to warriors, families and caregivers. Wounded Warrior Project provides wounded warriors opportunities to connect with one another through community events, veteran support groups and more. We direct every dollar, hour, and action toward serving wounded warriors – and we get results.
