I was referred to Tuxedo through PODS, and honestly I cannot say enough good things about these guys. I will admit after I booked movers, I read reviews and did get a little nervous, HOWEVER Nick and Izzy did such a wonderful job it’s hard to believe. These guys loaded my POD in under 4 hours, with 3 flights of steps, and not a close walk to the POD. Their attitudes and sheer work ethic really impressed me. Ultimately I moved from the West Coast to the East Coast and not one single thing was broken, and it took under an hour to unload, simply because they methodically and logically loaded my POD. The Tuxedo gentleman were absolutely amazing. To be fair, I was not expecting much as I've had friends who recently moved and had horrid experiences. From the lady who interacted on the phone and did the planning, to the gentleman who unloaded our 16' PODS, they were polite, professional, and exceptional in safely and lovingly moving our belongings.I am not one to gush, but these folk made our moving experience a pleasure!Oh, and with a discount from PODS and a lack of unnecessary up-charges, just....wow!
I used this service because they were tied to Pod service. I was pleased I found a reasonably priced moving company. Pod company brought one pos Friday but the second pod wasn't going to be delivered until Saturday 1 to 4. I knew it would be a problem because movers were scheduled around 11. They were punctual. Here is why I rated them the way I did. It says on Yelp they are open weekends but they did NOT answer the phone or return calls all weekend long. I was trying to reschedule movers ( which I figured would be near impossible) and I was wanting to get movers scheduled at a minimum for Monday to no avail. If they are not available the recording and Yelp should be updated. Also, it would be very nice if pod people and movers coordinated time frames. Thank you!
