If you decide to stay here you for sure won't regret it.Great little spot that's been remodeled into a very specific and unique look from an old school hotel. Nice beds. Pool is the highlight and what your able to light in specific rooms. This place isn't like most chain hotels. I'd give it a 4.5 but I'll round up. They serve breakfast burritos or quick go bags for complimentary breakfast. Just make sure you get there early for breakfast, they do run out.
If your ever in Phoenix, Arizona you have to stop by the Clarendon Hotel. This hotel is not only a great place for couples to relax and vibe but for also solo and family stays as well. The rooms are spacious, updated and very clean. My stay over the weekend was incredible as they have gatherings in the weekends such as pool party’s, yoga on the rooftop or other activities. The Clarendon Hotel is also thee only hotel that is Cannabis Friendly in Phoenix. They have dedicated rooms for your smoking endeavors as well as a smoking lounge on the first level by the restaurant. Great front desk staff. Very friendly and informative about the process. The hotel has a restaurant and some days has free live music in the afternoon.Where do I start about the rooms look nothing like the photos not as advertised. Rooms are very old and outdated. Definitely needs to be maintained. Tiny fridge had a crack so it was leaking. The room smelled like mold or a damp smell it was not fresh. Carpet poor conditions felt sticky and damp and patched together. There is no bathroom counter space however there is a medicine cabinet which could be used as space for toiletries. No closet more of a mud room style cubby to hang clothes. Air conditioning was older style not sure how often they change the filter.The pool was nice and clean.Parking was free and free wifi.Communication by the staff was via text message since there was no phones in the rooms.
