    I came to Jerrod at StrengthLab a year ago because I had been diagnosed with osteopenia. My doctor said in order to slow bone loss, improve bone density, and prevent it from becoming osteoporosis, I needed to focus on lifestyle changes with weight-bearing/strength exercises and a diet rich in calcium and vitamin D. I had already been working with my doctor on my diet and started walking regularly for a couple years, and that helped keep my T-score from getting worse. However, one year after working with Jerrod, my T-score IMPROVED in both my spine and hip. I cannot thank Jerrod enough for helping me become stronger!

    I've worked with many trainers over the years, and Jerrod at StrengthLab is by far the best. His years of education and experience in the fitness industry ensures I have a great training session every time I see him. Jerrod cares about how I move my body outside of our sessions, and encourages his clients to find active hobbies they can do together like hiking and biking groups. His encouragement with gentle accountability has helped me make better choices in my life when I am away from his gym.     Highly recommend personal training with StrengthLab! Jerrod is a very knowledgeable, honest, and caring coach who tailors my workout based on my work-out plans for the week, my physical needs/restrictions, and even the state of mind at the moment. Jerrod also has a way of encouraging me to increase my physical activity level in ways that fit my interests and abilities. Added benefits include making some new friends along the way (Jerrod included) and therapeutic mental health benefits as well! Can't say enough good things about Jerrod and StrengthLab!
