The staff is kind, supportive, and honest, taking the time to explain conditions and offer options. They show genuine concern for pet owners during difficult times, even sending condolences and staying with pets until the end. The veterinarians, including Dr. Weinacker, have great bedside manner, answering questions and providing friendly care. The front desk staff, including Lorie, are also friendly and welcoming. Overall, Paradise Valley Animal Hospital is a highly recommended and caring veterinary office.
This is the second vet I went to for an unknown mass on my corgi. After finding out he didn't have much time left, he ended up passing within the week. Everyone in the office was very compassionate about this hard time for me, they sent me a card and even stayed with him, after he passed, when I didn't want him to be alone. Thank you.
Dr Weinacker and staff were kind, empathetic and very supportive. I brought my kitty for an initial visit after a trip to the emergency clinic for what I thought was a UTI. Four days later during her appointment with Dr Weinacker she was much worse. He spoke honestly about her condition, renal failure, heart murmur and the possible UTI. He was willing to try to get her better so home we went with oral antibiotics. When the labs came back he called 3 times trying to reach me, my phone didn’t recognize the number so it wasn’t ringing on my end. Needed a cbc (complete blood count) and all chemistries for my dog who was going in for a procedure at a dental specialists office later in the week. PVAH got me in next day, had the best price and staff was friendly. CBC machine for some reason didn't get immediate results so they sent it out, didn't charge me any extra though. I called back to get a prescription and Elle went above and beyond calling Walgreens and cvs all around for me until she found one that had this specialty med I needed. This kind of service needs to be recognized. Thanks PVAH
