Their service and communication is the worst. I've never received an order on time from OnTrac. I don't know why companies continue to use them. Their rates must be much cheaper but you get what you pay for. Will make me think twice about ordering from a company if I know that they use on track to deliver.
I have very few problems with USPS, UPS, or FedEx....but OnTrac is a mess. I could describe many different experiences but I'll focus on the most recent one: I ordered a few items from Old Navy and unfortunately they shipped the package via OnTrac. First instead of leaving the package at my front door, they left it on top of my masonry mailbox at the street where anyone passing by could have easily snatched it. The package, a polybag, had been torn open and crudely re-taped. The address label was so worn off, that a second one had to be applied. Inside the package, one of the Old Navy items was missing, there was some random packing material, and there was an item from another vendor (Schein). So clearly the package contents had spilled out at some point and re-packaging ocurred.
My package was supposed to have been delivered 2 weeks ago, I created several support tickets and chatted with different agents online and they all gave me the same script. I requested a number to speak with an agent and they told me there was such a number. However, I did get a call from a 1(202) 4 number, yes that was the entire number, which I did not answer because I thought it was spam and they left a message saying that they had tried to deliver the package 3 times which is simply not true. I know this because I am currently 33 weeks pregnant and home all day and my husband is also home all day as he works remotely. No one has attempted to deliver our package in the past 2 weeks. (which is a chair for our nursery) He also left no number to call him back so I made ANOTHER ticket. Every day I sign up for text updates and it is like it is just stuck in limbo. I am beyond irritated and beginning to stress that this chair will not arrive before my baby. Terrible communication and customer service.
