Came down from our Sedona home to spend a little time at our Valley home and went to see Leona for the best haircut in the West Valley. Been coming here since the 80's when it was Howard's. Go here!
First of all 16 dollars for a haircut is unheard of and I couldn't believe it. I like a flat top but only if it's done a certain way as to not make me look pencil headed. Don't ask. Anyway she did it perfectly how I like it. And for 16 bucks. I tipped big of course. Be prepared for conversation, which is as a barber shop should be if you want to just fall asleep go to Supercuts. We covered a few topics including her lone bad review although we never touched on the weather which is awful right now. She only got quiet when I described Mesa as Little Mexico now. Hey LOL don't blame me, I'm only the messenger.
Leona is an angel. She has been cutting my dad's hair forever and he won't trust anyone else to do a good job. She came to him to take care of his hair today and he was so grateful and said he felt like a new man.
