I needed to choose my own inspector rather than get the one affiliated with my realtor, which is a real conflict of interest. I carefully researched professional organizations for home inspectors. There are two organizations. Inspection Specialist belongs to the older one originally founded to promote inspections in real estate at a time when inspections were not required. They do it through education and a strict code of ethics. Joe Bower was my inspector on this job. Allen gave me great advice. I did my homework, it always pays off. I recommend this company.
The inspection was incredibly thorough! Joe walked us through everything that he found and was very professional and courteous. He did not use any difficult to understand jargon and took the time to explain everything and answer our questions. His report was very detailed with pictures, but was written in a way that was clear and easy to read. Highly recommend this company!
