My remote fob stopped working. I changed the battery and it still didn't work. Bought a new aftermarket fob. Programmed it to my car successfully but still both remotes could not be found.
So Downtown Locksmith was recommended by a coworker. I went there met Ivan and asked about programming the remotes.
He tested them and both remotes were dead. He gave some recommendations and offered to test the batteries. I couldn't believe TWO batteries were dead. But Ivan saved me today. What a find.
I had a unique problem and Ivan from Downtown Locksmith helped me resolve it. I brought him the door handle to my Weiser lock. He disassembled and dissected the lock, found the issue and explained it was not fixable. He DID NOT try to sell me a new lock, nor did he charge me for finding the problem. HE DID tell me the name and number of the lock that is a direct replacement, one that can fit right into my door so no new holes would need to be drilled. He told me I could buy the product at Home Depot, Lowes, or Online. NOW THAT IS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! THIS IS WHO I WILL BE TAKING MY BUSINESS TO WHEN I NEED LOCKSMITH HELP IN THE FUTURE!
