We have been long term maintenance contract customers with Diamond AC and Heating. Their normal labor costs for repairs are reasonable, although on the higher scale compared to other contractors. I was surprised to find they utilized "standard fixed costs" for warranty repairs which were much higher than the hourly rate. The excuse given for that practice was that they have to submit the warranty information to be reimbursed for the part cost. I won't share my real opinion here but buyer beware when working with them on manufacturer warranties. Diamond replaced both of my units at a fraction of the cost of the company contracted through Costco. ( which currently is Parker and sons) I got better brand variable speed units vs the lower quality ones in my first estimate through Costco. This is a family owned company and I was able to call my tech directly with any questions. Without heat in the middle of summer made me grumpy but they even came out on a Sunday. ( a lot of the negative reviews are about phone calls but I can see why they use this method vs millions in advertising passed on to the customers to cover. )
Received an estimate from Ryan, a very nice young man. The owner, Corey, came out to introduce himself. Also a very nice personable young man. The two young men who came to do the installation of new AC and Furnace were efficient, very knowledgeable, polite and considerate gentlemen. They did a fabulous job. I highly recommend this company!
