About Destiny Sober Living
Destiny Sober Living is a program for adults aged 18 and older who are dealing with substance abuse, mental health issues, or involvement with legal or social services. Residents can come to Destiny through self-referral or court order. The program offers a range of services, including anger management, trauma, grief and loss counseling, life strategies, self-esteem building, self-care, healthy coping skills, and cognitive thinking classes. Destiny also provides budgeting classes and assistance with finding safe and supportive living arrangements after completing the program. People who have graduated from Destiny report feeling safer and more confident. They credit the program with helping them achieve sobriety, build lasting friendships, and find stability in their lives. While some residents note that the living conditions could be improved, they emphasize that the program's focus on personal growth and support is what ultimately makes a difference.
